data problems on unlocked thrill on non at&t carriers?

sup xda. im having problems getting data going on any stock based thrill rom and its buggin the hell outta me! my only solution for the problem is to use an O3D rom.. im on ntt docomo network in guam and we operate off the at&t bands so on a stock thrill rom i should get data right? well thats not the case.. i set my apn correctly and still nothing.. i took a look at the flex values folder in the system with root explorer and the thrill and O3D values are really different... question is.. if i use the flex values from the O3D rom to the thrill will it work? or would i lose my phone apk like the 4g mod for O3D roms? or is there an other solution? am i missing something? the fone is already unlocked from at&t... thanks in advance! i really wanna get data working on a stock rom!

You need to use the flex values for your carrier. You can TRY this:

Just input your country code. Then for the operator code use your carrier, or just OPEN if you're carrier doesn't have one. Then for mcc and mnc use the values from your apn settings. You might need to use an Optimus 3d rom as well since the Thrill rom is att specific. There's an optimus 3d rom in the thrill development section you could try.

hey thanks for the reply.. yea i think ill just copy the o3D roms felx values to the thrills own and see if it works... but i got another question.. do u you know if the flex values are the only thing i need to change? is there something else along with the felx values that have to be changed? thanks again for your input!! and it sucks that this fone is at&t specific.. its like they really didnt want it on any other carrier...

The apn and flex settings should be all you need to change to enable full network. You may or may not run into fc after changing the flex settings however.
