Cool Sticker on home button - This might be a daft question.

On my new SII there would appear to be a black sticker on the home button.

Now I haven't tried too hard to remove it but it doesn't seem to want to come off and I would expect if it was part of the packaging, it would come off quite easily.

So the question is firstly is it a sticker and if so, is it supposed to be there or should it be removed?

Haha, this is a transparant sticker. Just to prevent scratches, like the protector on the phone when it's new.
It's indeed pretty difficult to remove, but it's possible and doesn't change anything.

I removed by going over the corner with my nail a couple of times.

I kept mine on. I can hardly ever tell it's there.

I had mine randomly pop off one day about two months after I got it as well. Dropped my phone in a wierd way, managed to catch it by grabbing right on the button, and it slid a little off. Brief moment of panic, thinking I had wrecked something!

Thanks everybody.

Not as daft a question as I thought.
