Thumbs up [ROM] ViewCOMB 3.2 - Honeycomb 3.2 for ViewPad 10s (Advent Vega)

Good day to everyone!

This is the most stable ROM that exists for ViewPad 10s. ViewCOMB 3.2 is based on VegaComb 3.2, including all updates. My idea was to adapt VegaComb for ViewPad 10S. I made few cosmetics changes on VegaComb, added some applications, and made some tweaks in kernel. All credits goes to the VegaComb developers. Thanks to Newbe5, Rebel1, Ejtagle, Corvus, Cass67 and all VegaComb developers.

Are the latest kernel changes by Eduardo included?

There have been several changes since the latest VegaComb 9 Update 3 release.

Anyway nice to see some little improvements! Will try it out

Hmm so apart from the boot screen there are no kernel changes over VegaComb

Here in this thread you can see all changes Eduardo made to the source. You have to compile them though.

I follow that topic long time. I wait developers to make official update, I don't want to mess up the kernel

Hi, thanx for this ROM

Is it safe to install it on my Viewpad which is running Vegacomb 8.1 ?
I mean can I do the install as described (pdf) like a original (android 2.2) Viewsonic factory tablet ?
No ModdedStock rom base needed before flashing to ViewComb ?

Thanx for preventing me from doing stupid actions !

Hi!
It doesn't matter which is pre-installed rom. There's no need for modded stock, just follow instructions described in PDF file.
