I will be on board when it is released on Wednesday in USA!
Unfortunately because it is new and cannot be interop-unlocked there is not much development ergo activity in this forum. Most peeps dwell on the WP7 General forum.

Hopefully after the US release we will see some more activity.

Hey I had a quick question. Is there a big air-gap between the screen and the glass?

Also does it have an S-LCD or just a regular LCD.

Thanks I want this phone but dont want too much compromise.

I've had the phone for a couple of weeks already (I'm in Belgium) and I'm coming from the Nexus One (Android).

Must say I'm really impressed, great build quality and WP7 is great, really not much to complain about except things that are to be expected with a system that is still growing like WP7.

And yes, I'm hoping there will be a little more activity development wise when the phone is released in the US, right now there's not much going on for this phone...

I checked the phone out in a store the other day and all I can say is the screen is one of the biggest pluses on this device! It is gorgeous - you will not be disappointed.
I actually prefer the S-LCD that HTC is using to the Super Amoled screens from Samsung or just about any other display (save for the IPS displays Apples uses).

The other thing that stikes me when I hold this phone is how solid and sturdy it feels, but also how light and thin it is. It's really nice!

I do not see any air-gap really. Screen is S-LCD and its quite a masterpiece, sad that it still cannot be produced for bigger screens. Thou be aware, that it is not Super-AMOLED. That means the S-LCD blacks are still not exatly black tho close enough.

Thanks guys Im probably going to pick one up this weekend. Im with T-mobile USA and the only scary thing about getting this is the fact that if the merger goes through I would be screwed form in compatible bands.

im on my 5 day with HTC Radar, and i simply belive that RADAR is one of the BEST phones HTC has produced for a LOOONG time...

The quality is simply amasing and with a good speaker and really good sound when you talk in it...

And it's with WP7 I can not tell how much i love WP7. im coming from ANDROID and IOS ( SGS2, Sensation and iPhone 4) yes the spec on RADAR is not as amasing but I love it and think its better...

For me WP7 is overtaking Android and IOS and im a big ANDROID FAN...
