I can also see in app manager and Titanium Backup that it says my SD card is around 5gb+. I have an 8gb card, so it seems that it is partitioned, but for whatever reason the ext partition is hiding. Any apps I install decrease the actual internal space.

Thanks for the reply any help!

EDIT: crap forgot the screenshots:
I'll need a logcat for that starting at the splash screen where it says beginning of dev log. I've never seen anything like that before. Even on stock Cyanogenmod the ext partition always gets mounted even if it's not being used. Either that or you don't have a ext partition on your sdcard. You need to partition it in the recovery like it says on the instructions of the first post.

Another thing is what size did you partition your ext and swap partitions to when you partitioned it in recovery?

Ha, that's my kinda luck to run into something completely new. I don't have a lot of experience with the logcat, I've got alogcat installed. Do I just start it up after the phone boots and give you what's there, or do I have to do something to make it start at the splash screen? Sorry for the noob questions, I've just never really had occasion to use it before.

My partition sizes are ext4: 2GB, swap: 128MB, partitioned in recovery using your Green Hat recovery from Rom Manager.

No alogcat won't work because the scripts run on boot on your splash screen before the boot animation. Just use the android sdk which you should already have installed if you rooted your phone? You don't need eclipse like the site says but you'll need to know how to use adb.

Thanks but I need one that points to and shows what the scripts are doing because I put logcat error check messages in the scripts. I don't see any of those types of errors in the logcat.

Right now this is only for nightly 255 since that's the most stable/usable cm7 rom A.T.M. that cyanogenmod has put out. Cm7 does not inlude apps2ext or swap by default so I'm a little confused by the question
