Vibrate Icon, bug or Feauture?

Hi,

The vibrate icon in the top bar is always there (if you have vibrate on) with the Note

With the S2, the icon was only visible when vibrate *only* was on...

Anyone knows a way to get rid of the icon?

anyway to remove that icon & still keep the phone vibrating on ring ? i find it extremely annoying and a waste of space

this is my first samsung device (came from HTC Desire HD & nexus one) and i never saw something like that on those deivces (made me think its a bug)..

Yeah crazy uh, I really don't see the need to even show it. waste of space.
