USB Host Cable for A100??

Hi,
Today I placed a order on ebay for following USB OTG cable, can any one confirm, that will it works with A100?

My understanding is that problem is deeper than just using a cable.
Its a issue of the type of USB Slave/Host setup.
I have been able to finally view my removable sdcard using Linux/Ubuntu.
Is this what your trying to accomplish ??

I want to mount my 16 GB flash drive to my A100 for copy/move files, and for that I need to use A100 micro usb port, I am just asking that is that cable will work with A100, as it's already working with SGS2. I already have a USB OTG cable with my N8, but unable to insert .

i got a different one..but the same thing. doesnt work with the a100..yet(hopefully)

It doesn't work. I tried on my Acer A500, doesn't work. Use the same plug on Acer A100 at Bestbuy, doesn't work. Try the same on the Motorola Zoom while there, and yes it does work with the Zoom.

Even my N8 support it from starting. Option is there, but still not available. Hope ICS will enable this.

I haven't found a definitive answer to this yet. I've been tryinggb to find out if it the hardware that doesn't support host or the firmware. I've read that its the firmware that doesn't allow it, but with only having a micro USB Im leaning more towards the port itself doesn't have the capability of hosting. I could easily be wronggb though, as I'm definitely no expert.
