TMOUS Radar -- beautiful, and might also get 3G on AT&T

Picked up a Radar on release day. Utterly perfect as a mid-range device for someone who perhaps just needs a nice phone without all the premium goodies. Beautifully made, feels great in the hand.

Another interesting tidbit: although none of the on-line specs ever mentioned it, the box says that it supports UMTS 1900 (in addition to AWS and 2100). That would make it the first MO-sourced smartphone I've ever encountered that would work on either AT&T or T-MO's 3G network.

I am trying to get unlock codes from TMO and will try it out on AT&T if I am successful. Very curious to know if this will really work.

Any news regarding AT&T support?

I want to get this for my wife but we can't leave at&t.

About an hour ago I requested the unlock codes for the 3 phones I bought for me and my family. Let's see if I get them this time.

I got the unlock codes from TMO and will post back later today once I've had a chance to try an AT&T SIM in my phone.
