^That's just one I found on the Defy forums and did acouple of tweeks for bravo. I have a copy that i'm tweeking more, almost ready for my testing, I think. Still can't get the signal working right. Have an app for that anyway. And what the hell file do I have to edit or change to make this thing register as a MB520 anyway. Pissing me off. And I am really pretty at code, but there's just sooooo much of it here. Alot of junk code too that needs to be out of here. Not so great at HTML or SCRIPT or C+ or C++. I'm not making a web page!

Does everybody else have this kernal version? I cant remember my old one but i'm having odd problems. Are there any other kernal's for the bravo or defy? Hmm....

Ok now, tell about your progress in the camera. I wasnt able to port milestone 2 cm7 to bravo, maybe I missed something or maybe Im very noob

I was thinking about decompile the blurcamera.apk (in gingerblur) and camera.apk (in cm7) and look for the files the camera is connected to.

I've been very busy last days, but I will try it soon!!

@josuearisty I found what I was talking about, there are two files for the camera in froyo, blurcamera.apk and blurcamera.odex.

Somebody give me a crash corurse in logcat would be great and i'll be doing things faster when I know what to look for.

@Junkyardjames87 about blurcamera.apk, I have it deodexed, so that you can work directly with blurcamera.apk and not with the odex file.

I have it now in ms2ginger, do you need a logcat now?

-----------------------------------------------

About signal on your bravo, did you copy the folder I told ya to you bravo rom?

I think you should install defy baseband switcher and try "china ME7**" dont remember, but that was the way I got better signal and 3G working (Im not in US).

about kernel for bravo, I think you maybe need the source code, because I never saw anybody here modifing the kernel, maybe it needs some tweaks also.

Huh? Why are you working at getting CM7.1 working properly for the Bravo when it's already working here? And if you want it to be "MB520" (doesn't really bother me) edit the build.prop with Root Explorer.

@Junkyardjames87 yes, just like @BravoMotorola said, why dont you use his cm7 rom, everything is working there.

@BravoMotorola have you been speaking with walter79? I have some days that I dont speak with him, we are not coinciding to chat at the right time.

We need to work with this guy to get camera working, well its difficult because he doesnt own a bravo.
