Question Movie converter for HD7S?

I have an HD7S and I feel I'm wasting the beautiful screen by not watching any movies on it.
I was wondering if there's a resolution converter that can replace Zune.
Zune converts the movies just fine, but it takes FOREVER.
Anybody know a good program?

Thanks in advance!

I always use Nero recode, great for converting video and i always use the iPhone settings for conversion. You need to have additional software installed to convert copy protected DVD's.

How's the quality if I would covert a blu-ray?
And what would the additional software be? I have access to a lot.

I've never tried Bluray and don't think recode supports. Anydvd running in the background tells recode to ignore the protection and allows recode to convert it.
You don't need the quality of Bluray, you get exceptional quality from a 1gb conversion from DVD and if I play the same converted file on my HD7 and girlfriends 4S I think the HD7 picture is much better (and bigger)!

I'm coverting my copy of Transformers 3 as I type. It was a blu-ray but i converted it to mpeg4. If all works well then I'll report back. (:

I converted Transformers 3. It was 1080p and I have to say, the quality is amazing. I do wish it filled the whole screen, though. Any way to do that?

I used the trial version of Pavtube Blu-ray Ripper. It worked great and has a lot of formats to convert the blu-ray to.

I'm recoverting Transformers 3 but at a different resolution. The default resolution ( for me anyways) was 720x356 i believe. I'm going to try that and see if it fits better on the screen. I know the HD7S' resolution is 800x480 so its closer.
