Any chance that there's going to be a section for this... only ask because I know its not launched yet but I Know there's a lot of people looking forward to this phone!

Default Does HTC Vivid have NFC?

It does not seem like HTC Vivid has NFC.

Can anyone confirm whether or not the phone has NFC?

Thank you.

All reviews I've seen, is no word of NFC, don't think it has one.

I've been searching for an answer here. I can't find anywhere that actually says either way, which leads me to believe it doesn't, since I'm not aware of any HTC phones with NFC. Also, HTC only just joined the NFC Forum a couple weeks ago, while the Vivid/Raider/Holiday has been around for longer than that, meaning it'll probably be a few months before HTC can come out with an NFC phone.

(Just a disclaimer, this is all speculation on my part, I haven't been able to find much in the way of facts.)

XDA is about developing and is for developers. Any user that recognises that will gain the most benefit from this site

This is and always will be a site for developers, pure and simple. Without them we are nothing, without them there would be no reason for XDA Developers to exist; we should never ever forget that. Without them this place would not be called XDA-Developers but something else, e.g Mobile Phone User Support Services For Ungrateful Nerds.
