Default leaked O3D Gingerbread on Thrill 4g

And now that I finally have 10 posts...

First backup/write down your apn & mms settings, there are lots of info here on the forums to do this, or an app like this: http://android.riteshsahu.com/apps/apn-backup-restore.

Do a full nandroid backup to your sd card to be safe.

Follow the instructions on this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1331814 to get the o3d rom running on the thrill, it's a fairly long process, but not too bad.

Replace your APN and MMS settings, 4g disabled, everything else is mostly working it seems, though my wifi is a bit wonky so far.

OOOOR

Wait for a dev to build a solid custom rom!

Good luck!

Update - O3D thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1331814

Does our current CWM have full nandroid abilities? When I tried to restore a previous backup I had, it says "MD5 mismatch".

Link is broken for the O3D tread.

Also got my backup/restore to work. Not sure why it had issues with the first one I made, but oh well.

Do we have any devs that can make us a flash-able zip that we could use of this ROM? That would be kick A**

There should be a few, but I would watch the o3d forum and wait till one of the notable devs release a gb rom. Just my honest opinion.

Thread link updated to- http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1331814

Looks like the o3d guys should have a flashable rom rather soon, it should be trivial after that to modify it for the thrill and re-release. Good times ahead!

This looks good, but no 4G (actually HSPA+) kinda kills the deal for me.
