You dont need to modify anything, you can find battery mod in the settings under statusbar settings.

The kernel is working and the sound seems a bit louder and it sounds better i think.
And I think, that the DSPManager isn't working.

DPSManager is working for me. I can activate and manipulate Equalizer settings.

have u made any changes to the in-call volume , or it's only for speaker loudness ?

Sound is better for me and dsp settings are working.
