Default changing bootanimations

so i found these cool bootanimations (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=974773) and wanted to put them on my neo.

according to the guy who made them i have to rename it and push it here---> /data/local folder but there isnt the boot animation. i found i file called bootanimation here ---> /system/bin

so my question can i just push it into the bin folder? or is there an other way?
My android history: SE x10mini cm7 1 x 800MhZ --> SE Xperia Neo cm7 1 x 1GhZ --> Galaxy Nexus AOKP 2 x 1,2 GhZ --> SGS 3 Jelly Beaned 4 x 1,4 Ghz

This bootanimation is something another file.
Bootanimation.zip is located system/media, data/local etc...depends what rom you are using. Bin folder is something another.
EDIT:editing bootanimation you can use "absolute system"toolbox....for Neo you must change resolution 854x480
