Default [Q] Any Progress CWM/ROMs?

Starting day 4 with my new A100. Gotta say I really like the form factor despite viewing angles and battery life. Screen isn't IPS but acceptable. Noticed a couple protocols that have been reported to work to achieve root but have not seen where an unroot/recovery scheme has been developed (CWM would be most welcome!) The Nook Tablet looks rather nice but would prefer a full tablet and not an ereader trying to be a tab (not to mention HC preferable to GB 2.3)

Have just over a week before I pass the "fail-safe" point to return to BB so am hoping there's a light at the end of the tunnel (so to speak)!

Thanks all.

Hi, I'm author of custom ROM for A100. Without CWM. And I don't have A100 and I search testers. If interesting - just say to me some questions.

Well, I would have no problem testing custom ROMs but don't feel comfortable doing so without a way to either back out or restore in case things go south. Nandroid backup via CWM has saved my butt many times! Have dabbled in themes on previous android units but....only with working recovery!

I totally agree. I woud certainly be happy to test a custom rom if there is guarante of being able to revert back to my current setup

S'ok. Until a method of getting CWM on the A100 we're going to be pretty much at a standstill. TB with root does allow for app backup but no for image/recovery. If a Dev like Robeet for GTab or Roach2010 from Asus TF here on XDa focuses on the A100 we're going to be pretty much where we are. Unless one of the Devs from the A500 shows interest....a possibility there!
