[Q] Field Test (Net Monitor) on GSM

Does any one can help me out?
I've bought a Galaxy Mini... Need to test cell sites for a provider in Brazil....
What I need is to lock the phone to one particular Channel and place a call, to be shure tha is running on that particular sector...

i ve the same problem...expensive Galaxy S2 wich is impossible to analize the dbm/asu level....for my very useful!
can you help me?
