I'm glad I was able to help. I do recommend that you get S-off. It makes things much easier. I would also replace your hboot with one of the patched ones. I am using JuopunutBear's patched 2.21 hboot and it is working fine with the firmware from the 5-7 leak.

Question Can't update from Amon Ra 3.0.6

When I try to wipe data/factory reset I get this:

Formatting DATA...
Formatting SDCARD:.android_secure...
Formatting INTERNALSD:.android_secure...
E: Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p37 (or /dev/block/mmcblk0p38)
(invalid argument)
Error mounting /internal_sdcard/.adnroid_secure!
Skimmping format...
Formatting CACHE...
Skipping format of /sd-ext.
Userdate wipe complete!

what's with the error in there and what does that mean to me????

Edit: Did some crazy things that made it even worse. Just re-RUU'd. Trying again from there.

How does one flash this? Through recovery? Bootloader? I don't know much about adb/fastboot commands via pc.

Thanks again! I spent a few hours after getting a recovery installed and was able to s-off. Happy camper now!
