Polaris force closes on excel docs as well so I think it's an app issue with the rom

Hi Task

I have been using this rom for a few hours now and find it really quick. I came from V5 In Paris, and this seems smoother. Only issue is the Polaris office force closing. Do you have any thoughts as to why, or is there an updated version out there. Thx for all the hard work

polaris office didnt originally come with this release. i added it in. didnt test it because i just thought it should work. i guess it doesnt. not sure what i can do to get it working right now, but i'll look into getting it up and running.

Would the untouched 3.2 if flashed unroot my tab?

i didnt root or deodex the untouched bro. thats how it going to stay for everyone who just wants to run stock. i dont think installing superuser is going to be enough to root. if you want a rooted version. flash my version. its no different then the stock version pther then its less bloated, its faster, and its rooted.

Just a little question to the people that knows this better then me :)

Is the 3G function built in to the ROM or in the kernel?

Cause I used a kernel (don't remember the name) and then my 3G didn't work. But after changing to another kernel it worked again.

Perhaps then you could use any ROM and just flash a 3G kernel to get it working?

But I guess it's not that easy :P

I flashed Task's 1.1 ROM with stock kernel yesterday. I'm usually set my WiFi policy to "Off when screen is Off".

So this morning, my WiFi would not wake up until I manually disable/enable it.

Looking at log file there was something about "error to power On" thingy.

Does anybody have such problem?

I don't want to keep WiFi settings to "always On" for a battery consumption sake.

WiFi on 3.1 was going out of deep-sleep mode for me just fine. And it does not do it in 3.2 anymore. I have to recycle (disable/enable) WiFi in order to get connected.
