I have never seen any screen tearing on my phone.Is this on cypress?
Do it help if you put this line in build.prop
Code:
windowsmgr.max_events_per_sec=60

Thanks.
I'll test tomorrow.

Does swap file work better than in LinuxDX?

@alfsamsung:
I don't know who you are, but man! You just made my day!
Thank you so much! It's working really good, and the LAG on my Cypress X8 has gone with your kernel! Bro, I can't tell how happy I am now! Awesome. Million thanks to you!
(BTW to write something useful here: in FPS2D the average FPS is 89-90 with cypress now, but with LinuxDX it was 40 and lagging. I'll do some more tests tomorrow)

Even Active launcher is running without any lag or slowness with your kernel. just... wow.

I flashed the kernel over LDX with GingerDX v19 without any problem (made a clear cache though as you wrote).

Edit: I think my phone can't bare 729Mhz Overclock, it reboots at the moment I set the frequency to it (with SMARTASS V2), so I stay on 600Mhz because there aren't any values between 729 and 600.

Edit2: The sdcard's path has been repaired in this kernel as I see (maybe it was the patch?). Now there can be two paths: /mnt/sdcard or /sdcard. Good.
