+1 for getting our own forum! I love this phone, I have the car dock and desk dock, and I rooted it using the Rootzwiki instructions. No bloat and tether works, yay! Just need some custom roms. I hate when people compare it to the Epic. The Epic and all the other 1st gen Galaxy S phones are slooow BC of rfs file system. I got 1650 on quadrant without voodoo lagfix. Mods help us out with our own forum, pretty plz?

This phone is on a rfs file system to I thought? Plus once u root the epic you can turn it into ext4 which is what I allways did with the minnight rom and also removed carrierIQ but once we start getting roms and ext4 and all that good stuff we will be better

I read somewhere, maybe here on the forums, that they did away with rfs on the strat, that is why our quadrant is not in the 900's like the Droid Charge. IDK for certain though.

Nope this phone is in fact on RFS. Open a terminal emulator (install from the market) type in mount. And you can see on several lines showing that it is RFS (example below). So this phone will get (if you care) even better quadrant scores with a EXT4 file conversion.

/dev/blocl/stl10 /system rfs ....etc.......

Yea I can't wait for a debloated rom with ext4 and carrier iq removed but I might be dreaming to big lol

The epic gets something like that on stock GB on quadrant. And the devices are very similar. Same specs and same look pretty much.

Cool, I forgot we are running gb and the Galaxy phones I had were on Froyo, probably why they didn't score so high. I want an ICS rom on this thing

Yea I really wanted the white one but I didn't want to spend 500$ and I couldent upgrade because I used it to get a xperia play back in may so I found a brand new black one for 240$ and traded my xperia play for 130 so it only cost me 110$ for a new phone
