[ROM][KI8] 2.3.5 - PENGUINGURU'S ROM for SGSII v1.1 - [16-11-2011]

My first venture into the SGSII Rom world, this is my Stock Based ROM

I present Penguinguru's ROM for SGSII v1.1

Please keep in mind this is a HUGE work in progress and im doing this as a side project and NOT a full time developement thing
So changes will happen and i will try and get a nice little release cycle going.

I have made this rom basically because i could never found a rom that had everything that i wanted in it. SOOOOO i made my own, this is all the things i like and have always wanted in a ROM

THEMES STILL NEED TO BE SET MANUALLY THROUGH LAUNCHERPRO

- KI8 Based Rom
- 2.3.5 BASE
- SiyahKernel v2.1 - Thanks gokhanmoral
- Rooted with latest SU and busybox
- De-Oxed for Themes
- Zip-aligned
- Adjusted Dpi to 186 for even more screen realestate
- Added Custom boot animation - [BOOT ANIMATION] The Droids - Thanks Dysgenic
- Removed some samsung apps left only some useful ones.
- Added some extra APKs from AOSP
* Google Music
* Books
* Added the Standard Google Keyboard as an Option
- Themes Added to the Launcher Pro Options - Icons HD
- Add new Updated Market
- Launcher Pro or Touchwiz 3 (You Choose)
- Flashlight
- CWM Manager
- Added Widgets
- No Boot Sound

*Things to do*

- Add more apps to base rom
- Custom Wallpaper and Skins
- More things i cant remember ATM.

Instructions

I have 2 versions of this ROM once i start the normal release cycle: (FULL WIPE) and NO WIPE

for the time being i will release the FULL WIPE version of this ROM and then when i get the next release out you can test the NO WIPE version and lemme know how we go

So congrats to you all you are gonna be the best testers im sure

As Always with a new ROM Flashed ZIP via CWM 4+ , the install script should wipe your cache and data and system partitons for you but feel free to do it manually if you like just to be sure.

TEST AT YOUR OWN RISK: I Take no reponsibility if you brick your phone or there is a fire or your cat turns demonic and you cant flash you phone again.

Thanks , slowly but surely im getting there, been a long time coming and a LOT of reading and code crunching.

according to build number, it is still v1.0, is there a link for update? and can you please set the language english as default?

Indeed there is an update to v1.1 thought its not quite ready for release it seems. The default language has been changed to US english in the new build. Be up soon

Veriosn 1.1 has been added to the downloads section, previous versions will be still available via the link in the OP
