I'm not sure if its due to the fact I'm staying on the HSPA+ APN or just coincidence.
Well, share your details

Yeah when I was in Los Angeles I stupidly switch apn fo lte, bad idea because prior to that the apn i had was working great. Granted that I am at 30GB of data used, but last month I used 40GB and no throttle the one thing I didn't do that month was to switch apn's.
I kept it on wap.

I messed up, should've never tried the damn lte, granted that I was getting insanely fast netflix load, oh well, I'm going to wait next month and see if by not switching apn I can againg use 40GB or more without throttling.

Well this morning I decided to give GB(Buyancy1.4) a try, and guess what I had normal hspa speeds again, so naturally I flashed back to ICS by Mohan(Embryo2.2)and again my speed were down again. I am speechless by this, anyone have any thoughts?

I'm not trolling I'm genuinely curious: how do you use that much? Do you just stream video most of the day?

I just spoke to a friend who works deep in AT&T Corporate and he said they have a system that automatically throttles you once your phone has reached its 5gb cap. The system automatically detects the amount of usage by calculating how much data was sent to your device, thus regardless of whether which APN we are using, they will throttle us. He also confirmed that the APN has all been updated to monitor your usage, regardless HSPA+ apn, Cingular 410, Cingular WAP, they all have been upgrade to track the usage to prevent "network abuse."

Sorry folks. We are officially screwed.
PLEASE PRESS "THANKS" IF I HAVE EVER HELPED YOU IN ANY WAY.

It was only a matter of time before they plugged the loophole.
