And what is the difference from using sammobile and the ones linked here? Just wondering. Trying to send my phone in for warranty and just trying to get it back to stock.

I get tons of error messages popups where it asks you to click on the droid screen.
Phone #1: LG Optimus G unlocked
Phone #2: Samsung Galaxy S2 i727 LTE CM10 20121010 Nightly
Tablet: HP Touchpad 32GB CM9 ICS

running the official samsung tar, it wipes everything, installs recovery, radio, kermel and rom, if that didnt happen somethings wrong
like i said in previous post if odin isnt seeing ur phone when in download mode, then "try different usb port, preferably the rear ones on comp, use original samsung usb cable, or try different cable but still oem, uninstall/reinstall drivers, try different comp", in ur case it would of been to try diff comp.
odin sees my phone even when phone is booted up.
i have done it 5 times and the official tar restores everything back as when it was new, u might have to use "wipe data/factory reset" and clear caches b4 u start. i cant remember if i did.
dont use k0nane tar in op to restore to stock, i wish he would update his op.
this is the link for samsung officals tar, http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/ , create account and in search use i727 , u will have 2 search results, one is for att, one for rogers(i727r), it will be in a zip format, use 7zip to extract, u will have 2 files unzipped, one is the tar file with a md5 extension which u use with odin, the other is a dll which we dont need
rogers users have to use kies for update since there is no "software update" on our roms, att users do have the "update software" feature built into their software

As a reminder, folks, please do not PM me for support, but post here in the thread. Also, if you have issues after applying the TAR, you MUST wipe data in recovery.

I was just browsing Sammobiles flashing guides ( they don't have one specific for the sgh-i727R) and in several of then on the odin screen they say to check many more options than just the "auto reboot" and the "PDA" (with file). Why would that be?
