At this point, is there even a way to brick this phone?

I ask because I'm about to root (not recovery, just the zergrush manual method) but am not 100% sure I have the drivers installed. To be honest, I'm 98.4% sure I do (because I've done this with my X and X2 now) but DO NOT want to risk bricking this device since there's no SBF right now.

So I guess my question is - if I DON'T have the right drivers installed and attempt to root using the zergrush method, what's the worst that can happen? When I just plugged my X2 into my PC via USB it popped up with some new Motorola-branded 'update', but I think that's just their software, not my PC's drivers sensing they need to be updated...(?)

And for those of you who just got this thing... is it not absolutely freakin' BEAUTIFUL?!?! WOW!!! I'm almost positive there will never be a thinner phone *that's this solid/well-built*. This thing defies belief. Literally alien technology.
