It's here! and its FUNKY!

I'm not responsible if your phone explodes, bricks, or goes into hypertransition and transforms into Megatron!

The phone may bootloop, hang, many apps can fc, please use this with caution!
This is not a compulsory thing to be added! Those of you who want to test it/use it for some time, may do so!
I personally tested it with Batista 2.4 KI4 and it worked!

Due to the highly beta nature of the mod, I'm considering the mod as a Beta, as I personally will download KJ2 and KJ3 Roms to check into this! Sorry for the inconvience caused!



I found a method to port the ICS Transition Animations to our i9100

It will work on any firmware, irrespective of Samsung/AOSP tags!

But Be Careful to download the framework-res.apk of your current ROM

But be sure of backing up your current framework-res.apk from /system/framework

If you want the animations to be ported to other firmwares/cm-nightlies

Please attach the stock framework-res.apk of the firmwares.

Bandwidth here is damn costly, I can't download a 300 MB Rom just for editing framework-res.apk, I hope you people understand!

And I want the animations to work on every i9100 Samsung/AOSP firmware, so please please attach the framework-res.apk of any STOCK Samsung/AOSP Rom!

~~Method 1~~

1. Download the attached file named framework-res.apk

2. Copy it into /system/framework by Root Explorer

3. Be sure you have already made a backup of your old framework-res.apk

4. Replace the old framework-res.apk file

5. Set the normal permissions to the framework-res.apk corresponding to other system files!

6. Reboot and VOILA!

PS -- After copy-pasting the app, every app will FC, dont worry, just reboot!



~~Method 2~~

If the files are in .zip format, just flash them from CWM, first boot will take some time, as dalvik cache is wiped!

CheckRom 3.0 u mean? If it is based on KJ2 like Sensation 1.9 ROM, then yes!

If u want it for KI4<CheckROM 2.0> please could you upload the framework-res.apk! Much helpful if you could!
