Question [Q] Gingerbread 2.3.5 - Very High Battery Drain

Hello,

I have Samsung Galaxy S (GT-i9003). After I updated to Gingerbread 2.3.5 via kies.

The battery performace is very poor. The battery doesn't lasts more than 12 hours.

I have

1. Disabled Auto Sync
2. Disable Background Check Data.
3. Minimal Display Brightness.
4. Turned Off Wi-Fi & GPS.

When i see the Battery Usage,
1. Android OS
2. Phone Idle
3. SNS
4. Software Update
5. Google Services

are the Top services eating my battery.

This is not the rooted phone. My question to you,

1. What else i should be doing to get better battery performance?
2. Is there a stable customised ROM i should be using?

Regards,
Vinay

Well, I am facing the same problem on my firmware, which is JPKP5. Waiting for some good GB firmware to come. Will flash my phone with it! That's what you should also do I believe
