I tried the nook screen calibration application from the market but it reboots my device without result.

Hi

I found solution for wifi not starting after reboot. I do remember that I used airplane mode when I was at airport and I had to shut down NC at some point. After that when I turned it on, there was no check box next to airplane mode and this when the problem started. Now, to fix it, I put NC into airplane mode and then turned off again. Rebooted NC and guess what wifi came right up with no issue.

Now, I do have another question. My NC has 5gb data/ 1gb media partition. I'm wondering now:
1. How can I resize them without loosing data on them?
2. Can I reuse media partition as sd-card so I don't have to have external sd card?

Thanks

Any time you adjust a partition you have to assume you will lose everything. Titanium backup is your friend. Here's the thread you are looking for. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1094371
When *I* did it I didn't lose anything but I was going the opposite way, YMMV.

Which way were you going? I have it 5/1 way right now. I would like to switch to 1gb for data and 5gb for media. Then use media as sd card.

If I make changes in the settings, which partition is going to be used?

I use FBReader and I know I will need to change paths to the library locations, but what about other apps that use sd-card(like TB or ROM manager etc...)

Thanks

I went from 1/5 to 5/1, the opposite of what you want. The thread I linked to is to do the exact thing you want. As I said, assume you will have to re-install everything but if you take your questions about the partition thread to that thread you'll get more knowledgeable help.

Q for you. How do you transfer file into NC? I assume you don't have sd card in your NC. I can't get access to storage when I connect my NC without sd card in it.

Thanks

I transfer files to my NC wirelessly using Samba. I have a 5/1 partition setup so I install all my programs to the 5G. I have a 32G SD card for all my storage requirements.

All programs go on the eMMC. Books, music, movies, tv shows everything else, goes on the SD card. When I need to edit the SD card I turn Samba on and connect to my home network. Then I manipulate my files just like any other network drive. When I am done I turn Samba off and am autonomous again.

Once you put a check in the "Use internal storage" box the NC will think the internal storage partition is an SD card and you will be allowed access to it.
