Question [Q] Stream / Convert Video for Note?

Hello All.

I'm looking for the best way to play 720p Movies on the Galaxy Note so I can take advantage of the excellent screen but run into a few problems.

1) The 720p files are over 4GB

2) Struggling converting .MKV files to a Note friendly format while keeping the quality.

3) Streaming is then the only option but still have to convert the video files first.

What methods do you guys use to get good quality Movies / TV shows on your Note?

Many Thanks

PS. Wish AirPlayit would come out for android. Used the iPhone version and that was excellent.

I use Handbrake (open source) http://handbrake.fr/ to convert my mkv's

there are tons of tutorials and walkthroughs for most of the android devices

for example just follow this
http://androidadvices.com/how-to-con...ng-galaxy-tab/

however, make sure you adjust the resolution that fits the note which is 1200x800 because the website is talking about galaxy tab

Many Thanks for that

The settings on the website after changing the resolution look awesome and have cut my 5GB file down to 1.6GB.

Really appreciate the help.

Diceplayer plays MKV's perfectly.
I tried an ep of trueblood 720p MKV and it ran perfectly without flaws.
Was only 2gb so not sure of over 4gb limit.
