Hereby, I present you GingerReal.
The development of this ROM, is 100% aimed on stability and speed, which we have proven. Current install base over 500.000 smartphones around the globe!

Flash this ROM and you will never go to another

Prerequisites:

- Make sure your 3 button combination works
- Flash with full battery, or atleast at 75%
- Back-up all your apps, messages etc. All data will be wiped


Update to latest GingerReal
Note1: GingerReal2 is using WipeDetection when you are not on GingerReal2 the rom will wipe!
Note2: GingerReal2 is using custom modem/kernel detection. When you put your own zImage/modem.bin on your sdcard these will be installed otherwise the ones that comes with GingerReal

Flash from red recovery.

1. Download the latest GingerReal and put it on your SD-card.
2. Boot in recovery.
3.Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
4.Wipe Dalvik Cache.
5. Choose for "install zip from SD" then "choose zip from sd".
6. Apply the GingerReal-X.X-XXXX.zip.
7. Wait till it is done and reboot your device.
8. Wait till it is fully booted.
Congratulation you are now on the latest GingerReal

Known Bugs:
[*] First call after reboot has NO SOUND.(Toggle the Speaker phone on and then off)

[*] Swype is not working properly(Will fix). To fix yourself uninstall Swype and lib file. Reboot. Go to Swype.com and sign up. Now you can download and install lates Swype beta.

[*]No HDMI


For Those That Have WiFi Problems. Change The DHCP Lease Time On Your Router to A Week Or Two It Will Fix Problem. (Thanks to mrzzheng for This And The Battery Full Notification Fix)

I was asked about this, so here it is. I have not tested or used it. Therefore, if you flash it will be at you own risk. I don't foresee any problems, but just in case I'm not to blame.

All upcoming GingerReal builds have all apps integrated.
That means all Samsung Apps are in the ROM

So how to get rid off those apps?
Simply flash the attachment off this post in Recovery and all Samsung Crap is gone
This will work on all GingerReal builds and also on other custom roms.
It will not work on odexed custom/stock roms

How to get rid off the OTA aka batterydrain service?
Flash the "GingerReal-DeleteOTA.zip" in recovery

Double checking, the semaphore kernal being used in this release includes voodoo sound yes? Should i bother trying to install other tweaks on top of this? or would they conflict with the pre-installed tweaks, thinking particularily of dynamicrams tweaks

Forgot to take that out. That was for the I9000 version of GR2. This has the Hellraiser kernel in it. Yes you can use other tweaks. I haven't tried anything above AcidTweaks v6 myself, but no problems

Looks interesting, ill give this one a whirl, still in the middle of testing the Black 7.2 rom ,
