Unhappy Wifi problems adhoc issues internet pass through issues

i have a lot of issues
a. Cant connect via wifi to ad-hoc connection created with win7
b. Cant connect to internet using internet pass through

also there is proxy set up
i have tried myhotspot application that is available but even that, after connecting and showing full signal, doesnt alow me to open even google

i have a lan cable connection in my laptop

please desperatly want help

Can't comment on the first question since I never use ad-hoc, but for the internet pass-through, make sure the service is running (PassThruSvr.exe) and check if HTC Sync is up to date.

Could the proxy be a reason that I am not able to connect?

Disable you proxy to test it I would say it would be it
