Are LG likely to make an ICS ROM for the O3D? Apparently LG are bound by a clause that says they must update the O3D to ICS but the question remains, will they?

Good work by Ricardo for getting ICS running on the O3D in the first place.

LG Has posted their ICS Update Timeline on thier Facebook page. from what I read the O3D is "supposed" to be getting the ICS update Q3 of 2012. So anywhere from July to September. If they uphold that and get it out within that timeframe.

I dont understand ppl, satisfied with gb. Dont you want to have ics before lg dresses it up with ugly optimus - ui ? In the end of the year ?! All other phones even such as x8, and gt540 now have working ics ports. Lg2x have alpha of cm9. For our phone nobody works on ics. Its so sad.

Gb for o3d is absolutely ugly! Ghost calls (baseband), ram eating and all the gb limitation, maybe we will have ics by the end of the world...maybe maya was right? 21/12/2012.. ics for o3d?

Q3 is July to Sep not Sep to Dec.

I think if LG not ready release the ICS, its better to release the fix GB instead which is no ghost call issue.
maybe base on o3d max GB.
because I think the o3d max GB is better and have an interesting feature.

Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't realize I had typed it out that way lol. But being with Rogers and they tend to delay FW releases by months Sept - Dec seems more accurate

LG released their GB rom in Nov 2011 if I remember correctly and Rogers customers got it Feb 1, 2012...

I'm anticipating ICS for Rogers around Dec if not Early 2013

Ok, I'm officialy going mental about it. Yesterday I sent a not very polite e-mail to LG and I've got no response yet, I check Ricardo Cerqueira's Google+ profile daily and he just IGNORES people's questions about cm9 on p290. Even when they're not asking about ETA, they just ask 'Are you still developing cm9 for P920?' A simple answer of Yes or No would do the trick. God I want ICS I tend to get extremely anxious and it wouldnt be healthy to stay anxious until August or so. I'm gonna start to pray for it, maybe a mircale will shorten this time for us.

I have ics setup on my ubuntu machine and have after painful 5 days of trying to get the proprietary files, I have done it and have them extracted to the source.. But when i type source build/envsetup.sh it does not list the P920 on its list. but it has the nexsus and motoroloa rzar i extracted but p920 won't show up... I dunno what gives..

But i promise when i figure it out i will have it released here i asked for help no one is helping me so it will take me some time. I will just have it up and running it will be other peoples job to mod it to what they like lol...
