Hi mark,
I use test kernel 1.e packed by cyphol based on warrenb kernel and I have very simillar issue when my car charger doesn't charge my phone from my car only and it is an original charger. Other cars I tried with the same charger worked OK. All kernels based on warrenb kernel returned the same problem. Using other kernels my charger works everywhere. I am on mag EU phone.
I am not sure if any developers seen the problem. It doesn't seem happen often, only few users report it. I understand if it's can't be replicated it is hard to fix.

Please upload the EU version. I really want to give this one a try!

no it is a travel charger for the HTC but it has worked on all other builds that i have tried in the past.This is the first time I have had this problem not a big deal though was just surprised it would not charge that way.

I have a theory that the problems with charging are mostly due to bad/poor quality USB cables. Can any of you comment? I've purchased some USB cables from eBay and the really inexpensive ones are generally terrible. If you can find an OEM HTC cable, I've found that they tend to work much better. So that being said, I am not convinced that it's a kernel/rom issue yet.
