[ROM]VictoryRom_KL2 (GB 2.3.6) I997UCKL2 ROOTED with Stock Kernel and ICS Theme

Based on I997UCKL2 Infuse rom

What is VictoryRom?
1. Deodexed, Zipaligned, ROOTED
2. TW3 Launcher with NO Tiles and Xperia Arc launcher
3. Most of the AT&T Bloat removed..
4. Tethering enabled
5. Ad Block (host files). Personally I'm not into Ad block cos many Dev's create free apps cos of it.. But many users want Ad-Block so I added.
6. Ringtones + notifications + few fonts from ICS.(Roboto as Default Font)
7. Extended WIFI Scan Interval to get more battery.
8. Last But not least. kernel: This ROM has STOCK KERNEL. Once U Flash it... U WILL LOOSE CWM RECOVERY.

To get CWM Recovery back.. Flash Other kernels Like Entropy512 Or others of your choice using SGS kernel Flasher Or ODIN.

Installation Instructions:

*****Anyone running a ext4 partitions "MUST" Disable Ext4 and return to rfs partitions.

How to do it?
create a folder called Voodoo on internal SD, inside the folder create another folder called disable_lagfix and Re-boot the Phone.. Let the Lady Robot say its disabled (let it boot completely.
Or Go in CWM recovery from there disable the Voodoo lagafix.

Then Use Kernel and Odin (ziped) in 2nd post to get back CWM Recovery and Flash with below instructions. Below Instructions are VERY VERY IMPORTANT

you have to disable lagfix either by CWM or folder option above.
1. Copy ROM to Internal SD
2. Get Into Recovery (If ur On Previous Version of VictoryRom with Stock Kernel, Use the Second Post Kernel to Get Red CWM Recently disable lagfix reboot and get back into recovery)
3. Factory Reset/Wipe Cache/Wipe Dalvic
4. Flash the Rom.
5. Reboot Enjoy

If your Phone get BootLoops at Samsung Logo.

1. Flash Stock KL2 First (THIS LINK)
2. Then Use the Kernel In the second Post to get Red CWM Recovery. Very Important that after Flashing DO NOT LET IT BOOT Once U see Samsung LOGO, Remove Battery and Put It Back.. Get Into CWM By 3 Button Press.
3. Flash the ROM
Reboot and Enjoy.


KL2 FULL WIPE (Settings etc and will NOT wipe your SD Card)

I have attached Entropy512 Kernel in tar format with ODIN (Odin and .tar format kernel inside the zip). Its a OLD kernel but it does the job Or If you want to Flash the Latest Kernel from Entropy512 Latest Kernel with SGS kernel Flasher.. Download from this LINK and Copy to ur Internal SD and Flash with SGS Kernel Flasher.

Yes.. I like it.

running stock kk2 now but SOC wont root therefore cant run sgs flasher or have i missed something

You can always heimdall flash a kernel like Entropy's to obtain root and red CWM, then you can do whatever you want.

Just use the kernel and Odin I attached in Post 2. Once U flash Go into Recovery and Flash this.

1. First Copy the ROM onto ur Internal SD.
2. Flash the Kernel with Odin (Attached in 2 Post).
3. Go back to CWM Recovery (U will have the Red one after step 2)
4. Flash ROM.

I'm downloading this now.

Nobody's mentioned if all the goodies - HDMI, WiFi issues, etc have been cleared up, so I'd like to put myself out there to test these things. I should have results later this afternoon if anyone's interested.

You CAN root KK2 with SOC v2.2...yes you missed something..he updated SOC to root all the leaks
