Well since our devices do not take long to boot, you will only see so much. I wouldn't recommend over 15 or 20 seconds max.

Thanks. that vid from 1:06 to the end should be fine then. It's really about 8 or 9 seconds long. Is this difficult to do? I wouldn't mind learning myself. I saw a little talk about it earlier in this thread, so I'll read that again. If you can make this though so i can completely annoy my OSU friends that'd be great.

Here are 2 very nice threads with tutorials, a program and such. This is what I use to do this if any of you wanna do some yourselves. I think if enough of you wanna do it we could create a "post your boot animations thread" to share with everyone.

If you are wanting to use a video, you have to convert an avi to png's. Youll need a program for that.

My first question. In the walkthroughs, they referrence 'frames'. What exactly does that mean? For instance, on that youtube video, what would part 1 and part 0 frames be?

Frames.....yes. Frame rate is a different thing.

Xilisoft video converter. There are several converters out there. This one allows you to adjust frame rate easily.
