[Q] How to install Google Music on SGS Checkrom 3,

Hi,

I can't seem to install the new Google Music App (v 4.09) from the market or from a sideloaded apk.

Package not signed error.

Can anyone help?

I have not installed Google Music on the phone before.

Hi,

try this:

1. connect the phone with pc on "charge only" mode
2. open a cmd for adb
3. write the follow commands:
   1. adb remount
   2. adb shell mv /system/app/MusicPlayer.apk /system/app/MusicPlayer.apk1
   3. adb shell mv /system/app/MusicPlayer.odex /system/app/MusicPlayer.odex1
   4. adb push Google_Music_4.0.9.apk /system/app/MusicPlayer.apk

But this app execute these commands automatically:

copy with root explorer, but rename MusicPlayer.odex also to *.odex1.
