[Q] Can cancellation mic be turned off

Can the cancellation mic be disabled or turned off (toggle switch) ? If not is this a hardware limitation or an interface issue (i.e, if no method currently exist could they add software toggle at a later date to allow you to enable/disable it ?)

I googled arround and did not see any anything.

Why would you want to do this though?
