Instructions
1. Unlock bootloader: HTC-DEV (Register and choose Begin Unlock Bootloader)
2. Flash recovery:
- Download and copy folder Android to C\Android
- Download and copy file recovery.img to C\Android
- Connect device (Raider) to PC (H-Boot{volume down+power} Fastboot)
- Run CMD
+ Type "cd C:\Android"
+ Type "Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
3. Flash rom by recovery:
* For V2 +
- Download and copy rom to SD card
- Goto recovery menu and choose Flash rom from SD card.
* For V1
- Download, extract and copy folder BOYPPC.xxx to SDcard\clockworkmod\backup
- Goto recovery menu\ Advance\ Retore\ BOYPPC.xxx...choose Yes
- Wait for it to finish

Totally agree with your sentiment. Damn AT&T and HTC leaving our bootloader Locked.

awesome, i will give this a shot and let you know how it goes

feedback time, boot animation is pretty awesome, non of my apps are requesting superuser permissions (will hopefully fix by flashing CWM root zip file) wifi not working and just says error, default language is Chinese and set to only use wifi but you can change these easy in initial setup, processor speed in about menu says 1.5 but setcpu says 1188 which is to bad unless it's just because i dont have root right now, slow network speeds got maybe 4mbps down and 0.09 up. like that most of the bloat is gone like the power off animation as well, if i think of anything else i will be sure to post.

update on root: terminal emulator gives me the pound sign and titanium backup says it has root so it's as if apps are automatically being allowed, when in superuser it is set to use a prompt also tried to update binary and it said legacy and failed to gain root access. will try CWM root zip now to see what happens.

update on root 2: flashing CWM root zip fixed the issue and now i am getting prompts and everything is good, here is the file if anyone else encounters the same issue. VIVID_CWM_ROOT.zip

other things i have noticed so far is call quality really sucks and texting is limited to 80 characters which really really sucks because i type long messages.

Sounds like a pretty bad ROM
