By flashing JUST the EG31 modem.bin? In other words, LoS isn't attributable to kernels or ROMs (or can we make that logical leap)?

I've tested with the Rogue & LoST kernels and no more LoSi for me

Not familiar with changing modems...is it similar to flashing radios? Does a backup still serve as a means to bounce back from 'odining' a modem gone bad? Can a specific modem be cooked into a ROM?

Hope these are legit questions...I appreciate you sharing the knowledge!

Just flashed the eg31 modem but having problems updating profile. I get error " the profile update could not be completed please try again later. ERROR: No service error."

EDIT: Just did a couple of reboots until it finally worked. Thanks!! ;D
Time to put it to the test.
