Its not the kernel that has the problem. Reflash the radio and your gps will be fine. I had the same problem as you.

I actually don't like reflashing radio all the time. Found a solution using an app that triggers gps like gps test, and makes it work.

good for you that it worked without reflashing radio. Sometimes applications that call a method to update the location doesnt work

1.Do I need to flash this Kernel every time when Im flashing a new ROM?
2.If I dont like this Kernel and want to switch back to the CM7 Kernel, should I just flash the CM Kernel through CWM?(sorry, Noob concerning that )

Hey, I'm Riemer the maintainer of the Hero 2.6.35 fork (currently even trying to get 2.6.38 going). But I'm interested in any works related to the 2.6.35 kernels (buzz and hero gsm/cmda are quite similar), but I didn't found any source? Care to push the changes to github or something?
Devices: HTC One X, HTC Hero GSM

My Github: linky
- HTC One X kernel playground, based on Franco's
- 2.6.35 port for the Hero

You've come too late, he deleted his "infinityplay" repo, and therefore is "illegaly" distributing this kernel on this topic. (https://github.com/keiranFTW/)

Happily for us/you/me, I've cherry-picked the few "interresting" commits, so you could check my github, nickname@github

I'm actually raping your github btw, some of those recent CodeAurora commits Thanks

DONATE TO ME
You could say so, but I didn't realise this topic was still going....
I had to remove source code to make room for other things for a new device.
