Default [Q] Red frame around screen when using

What is the red frame around the screen when using any applications it sometimes pops up?

I tried googling this and for an ICS manual but I can't find one, the box had very little in it

Thanks

that should only been seen in the SDK and not on the final device.

Also could you post a screenshot of your About Phone section, the one that lists Android version number and other information?

Have you been playing around in the developer settings menu?

Theres all sorts of options in there that do funky things. Go in there and see if there's anything ticked that shouldn't be.

Thanks for that,

Looks like it must have been 'Strict Mode' I've disabled it so hopefully it won't happen again.

I didn't enable this unless I did it accidentally.
