I had the same problem too and i don´t have good news...

After i install S.O i have i screen to select my Country and birthday date, i decided to select my birthday date and the screen dissapear and doesn´t have time to select my Country - Portugal :(

The only possible i was found it was: I Create a new hotmail account at hotmail, then reset WP Mango, and when the new screen appear, at this time i select Portugal and than my birthday date at WP7 account and everything works fine at marketplace.

Probably you´re not interest to create a new hotmail account, but unfortantly i could´t find other option, because all other option are closed :(

If you decide to enter with your e-mail and password from hotmail inside xbox live you will see you are registed at China, and they couldn´t give you an option to select other country.

Inside Wp Mango i could´t find the option to select country account :(

not strictly true. my live id was set to UK and timezone to GMT and my email is ...@hotmail.co.uk, but contacting M$ from Dubai got me a country of China (could have switched on my VPN if i knew this before)
i think they are using ip location and if in doubt, just setting China.
but, i did get "Market Select" and that has saved me from a reset and new live id.

Yes, it is the screen capture app.
Mine does the same thing since v8 but oddly only when it is plugged in to usb (either charger or computer.)

It's a known issue that was fixed by the dev a while back but the fix was never ported over to HD2 version of the app afaik.
This requires custom attention because we lack the dedicated camera button.
I'd fix it myself but wouldn't have any idea where to start.

Only way to make it stop is to uninstall the capture app.

Very quick battery drain!.
There is some fix for this??. The ROM is very stable, but battery drains quickly.
