Yeah, unfortunately I don't have the time to support both versions and Windows is more popular than Linux, so it's Windows only for now.

Hmm, tried out the new Windows patcher and it seemed to work OK without returning errors but the Pdroid app on the phone kept crashing. I tried deleting the privacy.db, the privacy folder, and clearing the app data but now the PDroid App says the patch is not installed. Might have to switch back to the old Linux patcher even though it's not supported anymore
Hardware: Google Nexus One
Recovery: ClockworkMod 5.0.2.0
ROM: CM7 (nightly)
Kernel: intersectRaven's Kernel AVS (latest)
Tweaks: zeppelinrox's V6 SuperCharger, zeppelinrox's Kick Ass Kernerlizer, SD read cache 1536

I had the same problem til after I restarted and wiped delvik. I can't say for sure if wiping delvik is needed, maybe it was just rebooting the phone but mine is working fine now.
Hi, I tried a few searches so I'm sorry if this has been addressed already and I missed it.
I tried following the instructions to get this to work and had no luck.
1) Using clockworkmod 5.0.2.0 I made a backup but it didn't create a ROM zip. I tried a few suggestions on turning this into a ROM zip but without success.
2) I'm running a nightly of CM 7 (08282011) but couldn't find the ROM I installed anymore so I tried downloading the latest stable ROM from before my nightly (7.0.3). So I ran the auto tool on this ROM and I got an error message (yes, I reran it to be sure). Here's the output: pastebin.com/Km3br3XT
3) I don't know where to find a prebuilt patch for my version of CM7.

Tried that but didn't work for me. I just patched with the Linux version I have it I'm back in the game

Anything I can give to help figure out why it's not working? Here's the patch creation log as well... Looks like the build of framework.jar is failing for some reason, since there's a backtrace...

i searched in this thread and others, but i'm stucking in the following problem and i cannot find a reply so i hope that somebody gives me a little advice.
pdroid patcher asks for a valid nandroid zip file, but i have samsung i9001 and cwm porting to my device (called feamod, based on CWM recovery 5.5.0.4, the only available for my device) does NOT create a nandroid ZIP file.
it creates a folder with all the following files inside:
boot.img
cache.ext4.tar
data.ext4.tar
nandroid.md5
recovery.img
system.ext4.tar
(i tried to manually create a zip file, without using compression, of all the files in the backup folder, but pdroid patcher returns the messahe "not a valid nandroid backup")
so, hope that somebody can give me an advice on how to create zip for the pdroid patcher...

thanks in advance for your replies!
It's not wanting the Nandroid. You need the zip you installed the rom with.
