Default Mfg Date/Batch for Those with Problems

It seems that there are quite a few problems with the Rezound, including reboots, heat issues, and dead pixels. For those of you with bad phones, even if you are returning them, would you mind posting the issue you have and the manufacture date or batch number on the phone. If you don't have that, maybe the HW Version (although that will be much less useful, short of HTC running a new batch to fix the major heat and reboot issues).

To get your phone manufacture date:
1. Dial ##7764726
2. Hit call
3. Insert 000000 for password
4. Hit Display Grouping
5. Manufacture Date Code is what you need there

Maybe we can figure it out here. Will update the 2nd post with findings.

Sorry I already returned mine but I had a dud. I had it at 130F at one point! Also the bottom buttons were a magenta color instead of red. This new one is awesome! Runs perfect!

No more pink/magenta buttons? I'm having that issue right now.

guys, can you take pics of these "magenta" buttons? no buttons will ever be pure red, IMO. mine are red, but have a lighter red hue, which in turn leads to a pinkish hue...it's nothing to warrant a replacement whatsoever though.

Hey guys... yesterday something bizzarre happened and now I've actually found several reports of the matter (I did Google search, such as over at androidforums)...

My husband checked a text message as per usual from my sister and then then phone shut off and started a boot loop. Nothing I did fixed it... I even went into HBOOT and did a factory wipe-- it was still boot looping. SOmeone mentioned that Fastboot can mess with some apps, I remember I turned Fastboot off of mine, but I can't recall whether or not I did on his when I activated it.

Mine only boot looped once after doing temp root to restore my data with Titanium, but hasn't done so since. As for his, he didn't want temp root, so it was stock, untouched-- just customized how he likes it with apps etc.

Verizon went ahead and replaced the device with a new one so I don't have the batch number for that one unfortunately but mine was shipped with his (which did boot loop the time I mentioned above) I'd like to provide it here to help with the research, which n umber is it? I see the serial number and I guess what must be part number "P/N"?... and a black set of alphanumeric characters on the inside of the inside casing which are backwards the top line says D-32901133 and I'm having trouble reading the bottom line... just let me know what I'm looking for and I'll post it..

Also anyone experience boot loop bugs like this with any other devices that got rectified with an update etc? Mine also hasn't been getting the sort of battery life that others have been getting, I'm getting about half that.

I'll let you know if anything else happens.
