That explains it then. Thanks. What is the lowest value it'll accept?

I am not sure because ROM uses a different scale from the kernel. You will have to experiment to figure out the value for the ROM.

Thanks Faux for your answer. I'd forgotten that you "lowered" the voltage to the buttons to reduce the bleed. I lowered my threshholds in framework-res.apk and that turns them off in bright light and keeps them low in the dark so I guess with your kernel tweak and the framework tweak, I ought to get a few more "miles" out of this phone!

Hey Faux is it possible for you to include the stock kernels on your first post? having a hard time trying to find it.

Also, I noticed that my phone has a hard time trying to connect to my WLAN. I usually have to reboot the phone to make it connect. My WLAN doesn't announce SSID and I use MAC filtering.

Probably a dumb question for faux, but would it possible to incorporate the DS drivers in this, or does HTC's withholding of source make this impossible?

I get really super battery standby life in my G2X with the DS version OC/UV kernel.

Try flashing the kernel again after you install the ROM. That's how I got wifi to work on mine
