binary is either the one that has more reboots or the one that is good at getting the file and uploading it...I dont want to think htc doesnt like mods...that would explain why so many reboots :P

Hey faux123,

Is there a way you could possibly try dimming the capacitive lights a little more when it's dark. In the dark it wouldn't need to be as bright. I figured dimming it a little would keep it visible and take away some of the light bleed. Just a thought.
Thanks for all your hard work.

The current level is the lowest setting I can go. If I go any lower, the LED actually gets turned off because current is too low...

Amaze kernel 008 Beta 6 is out! (paul@ubuntu #15 is the correct version for this)

http://www.multiupload.com/54CYDFLG0T

(Again, I've been running Beta 6 overnight and have experienced no issues at all running 100% stock ROM before I posted this)

Going back to use EKF again. Make sure you use a PC to do this. SDIO Interface is what Amaze uses to talk to the Modem. So here's Amaze's hardware architecture:

MSM8660 ==> MMC ==> WiFi Module (WiFi is treated as an MMC card)
. ==> SDIO ==> Cell Modem (Cell Modem is treated as an SD card)

{ build 6 }
disabled CPU overclocking
{ build 5 }
sdio: Handle graceful shutdown
sdio: fix MCI_CLK corruption
driver/vibrator: reduce debug message spam to dmesg log
{ build 4 }
Added JRCU (thanks to Joe Korty!)
Patched MMC lock up issue
Removed additional Panasonic Gyro Log Spams
Patched RPC and SMD drivers
Enabled Performance Lock Screen Off settings

Do you think OC is to blame? I don't think I'll flash Beta 6 I like my OC & UV...
Btw when you test the kernels how intensively do you test them? Data, wifi, games, videos etc
Device:
HTC Amaze 4G
Viper Amaze 1.6.4.1
HBoot ENG 1.90.2005 S-OFF Juoputnutbear Unlocked

Previous Device(s): HTC Hero (GSM) Retired

You know, just thinking, maybe the reason some people are having problems and some aren't with the same exact phone is because of overclocking?? Not all CPUs are created equal and some can handle OCing and some will be unstable. If Binary has his CPU overclocked, maybe that is causing the looping issue. I don't know if a "last.kmsg" file would reflect that possibility or not. Another thing Faux says is not to install any task killers as they may cause instability and FC's. Maybe this could also be related to boot loops? Has anyone with problems (Binary?) just ran stock BP 2.1 and faux123 kernel for several hours without restoring any apps or OCing their CPUs to see if the looping problem still exits?

Hm, yah. That was an issue with my Nexus One. Overclocking never worked too good on it. Constant freezes and random reboots. But when you scale down to normal, it's all gravy..
Could be a similar issue here..
