Default How to enable text reflow?

Perhaps there is no text reflow on the browser?

In all the review/preview videos I do not recall seeing text reflow in the browser. This was something which perturbed me somewhat, but I don't see why they would take a step backward by removing this option.

Can anyone with a handset verify whether this function is still available in browser?

It seems to be a manual reflow, rather than automatic.

You get the pinch to zoom on a page, but the text will not reflow automatically. The text will only reflow after double tapping the screen.

At first I thought this was a bit strange, but I actually prefer it as it stops the page from reflowing and shifting everything around when you dont want it to (like if you just want to zoom in on a picture for example)

Ahhhh.. Thank you! Thats great. I can actually see how that is better too.

The only other thing I noticed so far which I am not too keen on is the dialler.
For example, on my old Desire, if I wanted to call a contact called John I would usually start spelling the name using the keypad 5 for J, 6 for O, 4 for H etc... This is so intuitive and very easy. I guess that was a "Sense" addition? Don't suppose there is anyway to do that in ICS?

Other than that I am impressed with the build quality of the phone. I can tell I am just not used to ICS yet and will probably love it after a few days use.

It's not the same as on Sense (I think it's called T9 dialling), but there is something similar which kinda works the same.

When you open up the dialler, the search key in the bottom left lets you search by name and will short list your contacts as you type each letter. Then it's just a case of pressing the contact and it will dial them.

Not quite as quick as the Sense way of doing it, but it's better than having to go through the people app.

You'll find a few little quirks with ICS that at first throw you, but you quickly realise it's a better way of doing things than in Gingerbread

Try dialer one from the market, this will do what you ask for. ( if compatible with ICS )

Yeah, that dialer was definitely a Sense addition. My Rezound has it,but my Fascinate and Charge didn't .

Thanks for your replies guys! Just a matter of adapting I guess. 19months with the HTC Desire, so it will feel different at first.
Loving the phone though. BTW, my Desire feels tiny already after just an hour or two using the GN. The GN is certainly not too big.

That would still be fine by me then- I've had the manual reflow on my nexus one in the past- I'm on CM7 at the moment so I think it is auto reflow which is why i'm so used to it !

instead of clicking dialler then typing a name, google shortened the sequence, now you just type the name in the google search bar.
