I appreciate the work that you and others are doing!

I'm pretty happy with Gene Poole's Liberated Aria 2.2.2, but i'm glad you continue to work on ROMs for this phone.

Thanks.

My personal opinion!! Little harsh, I would think. All these devs work very hard and just because you don't get what you want, why give them a hard time?

sorry if it sounds a bit too negative but just leave the poor aria alone for gods sake....

The hardware is obviously not up to sense 3.0+ or gingerbread, all the time spent porting crappy gingerbread roms to Aria can be better used to make an existing rom WORK.

Sometimes I think XDA cooks are more interested in the possibilities of running something on an old piece of hardware than actually make it worthwhile for average users.

Existing roms work because of devs taking their time to make what shouldn't run on the aria hardware run.

Why are you ranting about what happens all over XDA? If you don't like devs taking their time to make make functional ports then the development section isn't for you... and nether is any other hardware development section.

Devs make roms because they can and because they enjoy it, whether it's fully functional, half, or boot looping. Don't come here and basically **** on that for the rest of us.

And btw every gingersense rom I've had the chance to load on my Liberty has been exceptionally fluid and stable. Granted bluetooth, hotspot, and fm are crippled I can live very easily without. Great job devs!

How can you say the Aria's hardware is not up to Gingerbread? CM is Gingerbread and it runs better than any 2.1 or 2.2 rom I have ever used on it including any official HTC software.

Is someone forcing you to come in here and read every post about every new rom for the Aria? Is it your job? What do you care, you don't have to read about it or run it on your phone.

yeap CM is a rare gem, but why porting Sense?!

It is much harder to do since its closed proprietary. It is deeply integrated into the OS and hardware so a lot of stuff will break.

Well you are not the one doing it, so just leave the devs alone. If devs feel like doing it, then they'll do it. It doesn't matter if it's hard or not; Some people like a challenge(s) (so let them face it).
