Question Does the Galaxy Note work with Tmobile's data?

Does it work with 4g or even 3g that well? I saw that the Note and Tmobile both use 2100MHz for their frequency, but I wanted to see if someone here on Tmobile USA could actually confirm that it was working with fast data speeds. This will be a deciding factor on me purchasing this phone, which I am planning on so far.

DONATE TO ME
The note is missing the 1700 MHz to work on tmobile USA. Tmobile USA needs 1700 and 2100. So 2g only only on tmobile USA.

Thanks for the reply. I was under the impression that it only needed one of the two frequencies in order to work.

Default I make Note work on high speed data and phone

I have the Galaxy Note. You will not get any data on the Note if you put it on T-mobile. HOWEVER, I have a wifi at my home office and so there I get both. So, I took my Galaxy s 4g and put it on a data plan with t-mobile and since it's been rooted, get the hot spot feature and that sends the data to the Note at very high speeds. I used the inexpensive resellers so the price is more than $50 for both but it's a lot less than paying for T-mobile direct for a sim card for the Note and a hot spot device and data service for hot spot device.

Once you've done this you can wifi the data over or I believe even set up the bluetooth to transfer the data at high speeds. Before that, I got NO data, not even edge. So, this is a life saver and I pay about $70 for all, including taxes, ect for unlimited everything. I don't think you'll like the Note with only Edge or no data at all since it does so many things, then you might as well just get a dial phone without the high speed data.

Only the at&t version can be hacked to work on t-mobile 4g network. Best you can expect with international version is edge

As others have said, the international note works on T-Mobile's edge only.

I didn't need to change any apn settings when I got it. Just put in my T-Mobile sim card and edge worked out of the box. Though I keep experiencing intermittent signal drops until I flashed the latest LC1 firmware. I'm very happy with it now.

I get anywhere between nonexistent (hilly suburbs) to 206 kbps down and 118 kbps up in the Seattle - Tacoma area.
