Reflashed. Seem to be working now. Would have liked to have sound in the boot animation (just like MIUI)

Is there any real difference between this and the version in the i9000 forums? I just got that set up perfectly and I don't want to have to redo everything.

I was able to get around that, all you have to do is go to settings->apps->all->Lancher and clear data and force stop. and that should leave the homescreen stock and no FC

Yeah, I removed a widget and the launcher crashed. Went into settings and cleared app data for the launcher and it's all good now.

Side note, is it just me or are the colors a bit lighter/washed out on alpha 7? The menus for instance look like a lighter, washed out grey.

Hey everyone, like most of you, I was suffering from some annoying lag. Even overclocked to 1.3...still laggy. I just changed the wallpaper from live, to just a standard black and blue wallpaper that was included with the rom. Just changing the wallpaper, and now I'm virtually lag free. Try it out and let me know if this worked for you also.
