i just launch sprint hotspot and click the checkbox. it works natively on this rom.

I would uninstall facebook then reinstall it. I have been running this rom since its release date and have not had one problem. I am gonna say it is an app issue and not a rom issue.

I fixed permissions in recovery, now my autobrightness is whack, much higher brightness than what it use to be....is there something I can do for this?

I use an app from the market called rootdim to lower my brightness threshold

Believe it or not right after i replied that same thing happened to me but a simple pull down to refresh fixed it. I hope that works for you.
